I've used many different packages. Yes, even vB4 (which sucks crap). WBB is the god of forum software. Easier to mod that even MyBB. I feel like buying a license (I'm using Lite 2, which in itself is epic.).

Hello,
there is no possibility to create an image, that fit all screen sizes. You can only create an image which you can repeat horizontally and vertically but then you have to change the appearance of the page to static and the width into percentage values.
Not entirely true. you can create two images, one being the one that tiles on either side of the center image creating the illusion that the center image is extending itself. -
Okay, so the whole untar error thing solved itself, but since I'm on (half-decent) free hosting, I can't autoupdate due to resource limits. My question being is it possible to manually update WBBLite and WCF to their latest versions?

It was, yes. I'm on x10Hosting and they have safe_mode off. I have since deleted the old structure and went to try again, but to no avail. Before it even did anything it hurled the same error at me with no directories even present.

I'm testing this software out on a private webspace. Only problem is it's refused to install four times and on the current try it's throwing this at me:
HTML
Alles anzeigenInformation: error message: Could not untar file 'install/files/acp/images/setupBackground.jpg' to '/tmp/0e1cea60_setupBackground.jpg'. Maybe disk quota exceeded in folder '/tmp'. error code: 11015 file: /home/cchef/public_html/arknet/forums/install.php (482) php version: 5.2.13 wcf version: date: Sat, 17 Apr 2010 19:27:51 +0000 request: /forums/install.php referer: Stacktrace: #0 /home/cchef/public_html/arknet/forums/install.php(731): Tar->extract(22, '/tmp/0e1cea60_s...') #1 {main}
The kb entry says to empty /tmp, but I checked in there, ant there's nothing in /tmp. Any help to solve this issue is greatly appreciated.
