What?
The corona deniers are currently strongly overrepresented, because whoever finds the measures to contain the pandemic good, or even finds them too lax, will hardly go to a demonstration.
There is no plugin.
As long as it is ensured that it is not the user but the web server that loads this data, I see no problems, at least for data protection reasons, but what about copyright law?
Map? You simply delete the contents of your cache directory (withouth the .htaccess).
Followed all steps in this thread : WoltLab Suite 5.2 Released
You skipped step 4.
And behind the CPanel is still a server which needs your attention.
Especially this is simply wrong.
Didn't make sense...
I don't think it's standard. It may be an notice on this page.
The generated package would not be complete. The operator would supplement this automatically generated package with further information, eg data from plugins or emails. I think the self generated file would be rather misleading for the user.
The bigger problem may be getting the consent of all users and distinguishing between users who have agreed and users who have not agreed.
The smileys were not created by WoltLab, and unfortunately have not the expressiveness of the earlier smileys, created by WoltLab. You are free to replace them for your community.
Doesn't matter. See https://www.welchername.de/ for example. A first look won't tell you, what software is used. Checking the source code quickly reveals it.
An really good example. For many proects it really is no problem that somebody could identify the software you used but you don't want to show your users which cms you used either. I just wanted to point out that there are plenty possible reasons to purchase this option.
A possible reason is never nonsense! Maybe you are able to identify the software. But does that also apply to the regular user? Keep in mind you can customize and even replace the frontend.
Or???
… don't like the look of it,
… want to place their own copyright there,
… don't want to bother their users with somethin not relevant for them,
… want to create an unique community without reference to WoltLab,
… want to hide the software used to create the community because of security reasons,
… want to support the great work of WoltLab by paying this extra money,
… something else.
Do you get instructions for removing the copyright via CSS or language variable edits, do you get a "plugin" that you can install the usual way, which removes the copyright or something else=
You get the permission to remove it. It isn't really difficult. You don't need an instruction or a plugin.
The GDPR killed Google AdSense in Europe. Today you can make litte to no money with it. I removed it from almost all websites.
