This error is pretty tricky, as the original issue is something else. Could you please fire up phpMyAdmin and try to repair the table "wcf1_session_data", it seems to be broken in your installation, feel free to curse MySQL at this point

"WoltLab®" is a registered trademark within the whole European Union and should not be used as domain name, therefore registering the domain "woltlab.ro" is forbidden.

First of all, WCF (the underlying framework) already uses SHA-1 for encryption, but it's using an additional salt to eliminate the vulnerability to rainbow tables. You have to use a bunch of event listeners within our software to keep track on new registrations and password changes. Whenever you encounter such a situation the event listeners would send a query to the database either creating the new user or updating the password. Even though the passwords are stored one-way encrypted in the database, you still have access to the raw password whenever a user registers himself or changes his password, allowing you to apply an individual encryption prior to storing it in the gameserver database.
After all the easiest way would be accessing the forum's user database directly from your database and downgrading the encryption method of Burning Board to plain SHA-1. In that case you could directly use the passwords from the database, without the need of a separate user table. Depending on your used software this might not be possible though.

I would recommend that you copy both affected templates, put them into a Zip-Archive and upload them here.
PS: Please always post error messages as text (with code or quote-tags around) instead of useless screenshots

An upgrade is sufficient
Anyway, you can still achieve the same effect with Burning Board 3 by setting the lowest permissions for user group "Everyone" and then increase the permission for individual user groups.
-
Actually with Burning Board 4 we've already implemented a way to adjust a single group options for all groups at once. Furthermore we've improved the way permissions are saved, causing permissions to be inherited unless it is better than the default value (= everyone group).
-
Actually we have a working importer for vBulletin 4.

1. Do you have database converter: IPB 3.x.x to WBB 3?
Currently only IPB 2.x is supported (as you've stated in the topic). Little chance you might have mixed up the numbers?2. Do you have Downloads plugin?
There are a few free-of-charge plugins available, e.g. Infinite Filebase.3. Are Gallery and Blogs plugins included into the package?
No, but you can purchase them during checkout. Please be aware we grant you a discount of 5% for each plugin or style you buy during the checkout process; The discount is applied to the whole purchase.4. Why can't I read and see topics in http://www.woltlab.com/forum/p…-community-gallery-1-1-x/ ?
Some forums are restricted to customers only.5. Are there any Russian community links?
I am sorry, but I'm not aware of them. -
You're using a 3rd party plugin for that, you better ask the author himself
-
Yes, it is mandatory.
-
We're pretty close to some public footage showing off the upcoming Burning Board version, shortly after would be an accessible public beta. Please be aware we do not want to give out a specific release date, as it highly depends on remaining issues within the software.
-
An import requires the physical path to the phpBB installation as well as access to the database. It is not required to access it using HTTP, therefore the installation can be even completely broken and it would still work
-
The URLs within the page HTML look a bit weird, have you moved the installation to a different directory after installing?
-
I'm sorry, I did a mistake in my previous post: "0" means it is not possible to edit the post whereas "-1" stands for infinite.
-
Please bear in mind you are not allowed to distribute the package in a whole. I was referring to the translation itself, meaning the XML document containing your translation
-
Sure, feel free to distribute your translation

If i am running phpbb on my forum would it be possible to upgrade to burning board?
Yes, Burning Board 3 ships with an importer for phpBB2 and phpBB3.Are those the only language packs you support? What about other eastern European language packs?
I'm sorry, but we only support the languages mentioned in Black Rider's last post. Nevertheless you can still translate the whole software yourself through the administration control panel, even though it takes a lot of effort. -
Be aware that a user has always the best permissions set for him. If you set the timeout limit for "Registered Users" to 5 minutes, but leave the "Everyone" group on a value of "0" it still means that every user can always edit their posts. Same applies for every group a user is member in.
Please bear in mind that "Everyone" means literally "Everyone"
