what is "Use persistent connections"?
and have anyvody used this caching methid? did it make a big difference in the performance?
how to integrate it with burning board?
what should i put in every field in the acp in order for it to work?
I found a new option in wbb 3.1 admin panel called memcache
Is there any documentation about it? It seems to be a very useful function but how to use it?

its working
once the script run on the client side its parameters cant be passed to the server back unless using $_GET which requires rewriting the url. if you know a solution let me know
give me the exact code
0xdefec explained why it can't work if it did i would have done it
can you please write a tiny tutorial about it. i still dont get it
that is exactly my problem!
im looking for a way to detect screen resolution and apply it in the code.
i have 2 leads for now:
i created a javascript that writes the resolution value in the url now i need to get them in the code, i need to document myself on how to do it (i read the official documentation for readparameters() but it doesnt explain it well so i have to go through the code to find an example and undertsnad it)
the second solution is to use css Media feature: im not sure how to work since i found it in the internet few minutes ago right before i went to school :p i will read more about it when i get back home.
when i find a solution i will let you know, meanwhile if anybody have an idea about the Media tag you can save me some time by explaining it
im greatly thankful for every help you bringed and going to bring.
i tried the css declaration and it just removed the banner
Why dont you use JavaScript and CSS ?
Check the screen Resolution with JavaScript and then hide the banner via CSS, if the Resolution is too low...
how can i do it? that is exactly what im intending to do. im just new to css and i only know the basics.
i wrote a javascript that rewrite the screen resolution in th eurl
now i would like to know what is the equivalent to $_GET in wbb template? I want to read the variables from the url.
