<optiontype>url</optiontype> Error

  • Hello,

In my style, I've used <optiontype>url</optiontype> for some ACP configurations, i.e.:

    Code

    <categoryname>radiant.footer.social.data</categoryname>
    <optiontype>url</optiontype>
    <defaultvalue>https://twitter.com/username</defaultvalue>

In my two local installation (German and English), installing this package does not produce any error.

However, some users of the style reported and issue that there's an error: unable to find class for option type 'url'

    https://prnt.sc/nfqe5c

What could be the possible reason why it's working for some installations while others produce an error?

    Thank you.

  • The name is actually URL just like jens1o explained and if you're curious why it worked for you: Filenames on Windows are case-insensitive, readme.txt and README.txt are logically the same exact file. However, on Linux and Mac, these are two different files that have absolutely nothing in common.
