We have just released new versions of our products:

Stability releases (also known as "minor releases") aim to solve existing problems in the current version. Like every stability release, they do not introduce new features; It is strongly recommended to apply these updates.

Updating an existing installation (recommended)

Open your Administration Control Panel and navigate to Configuration > Packages > List Packages. Please click on the button Search for Updates located in the right corner above the package list.

Updating an existing installation (alternative)

Navigate to the downloads section in the customer's area, select the appropriate version and click on the Download Update button. Open your Administration Control Panel and navigate to Configuration > Packages > List Packages. Click on the tab Upload package and select the previously downloaded files and upload them one by one, the order does not matter.

Only significant changes are included in the list below, minor fixes and typos are left out.

The version numbers behind the list items indicate the lowest version that was impacted by this change. All later versions include the same fix in this update too, or have already been fixed in an earlier update.

These updates include a larger number of improvements of the phrasing, especially inconsistencies across our apps. Thanks to Dukemaster who spotted most of them out.

• The HTML markup for the list of entries by tags was incomplete. 3.0.19+
• The search bar for the blog did not recognize the active blog. 3.0.19+

WoltLab Suite Calendar

• The search bar did not maintain the category selection. 3.0.19+
• Imported events with messages spanning multiple lines were not recognized. 3.1.7

WoltLab Suite Filebase

• The license agreement no longer uses an iframe. 2.1.22+
• Files pointing to an external resource are now forwarded using HTTP 303 instead of HTTP 307. 3.0.19+
• The checkboxes for each file on the category list were unusable in Firefox. 3.0.19+

WoltLab Suite Forum

• Resolved a compatibility issue with PHP 7.2. 4.1.21
• Tags assigned to threads for articles did not inherit the correct language. 5.1.7
• Deleting articles did not remove any automatically created threads. 5.1.7
• Restoring a disabled thread could cause the thread to be approved without any visible posts. 5.1.7
• Copying threads did not include the assigned tags. 5.1.7

WoltLab Suite Gallery

• Editing multiple images from different authors could assign them to the wrong album. 2.1.13+
• Saving images was blocked by errors thrown by the Google Maps API. 3.0.19+
• Renaming a user did not update the username for images. 3.0.19+
• Support for PHP 7.3. 3.1.7

WoltLab Suite Core: Importer

  • Disabled comments or those containing HTML are now fully supported. 3.1.7

WoltLab Suite Core

• Improved the recognition of internal links for images. 2.1.24+
• Blocked images are now marked with a distinct and customizable phrase, rather than using a misleading bbcode-like output. 2.1.24+
• Rewired the Google Plus login to use the regular Google login instead (Google is shutting down Google Plus for non-business users). 2.1.24+
• Prevent prompts to solve a captcha when all captcha providers are unavailable. 3.0.19+
• The PayPal IPN callback now supports non-business accounts. 3.0.19+
• Support for PHP 7.3. 3.0.19+
• Resolved an issue with menu items whose referenced object has been deleted. 3.0.19+
• Improved the handling of fonts hosted on "Google Fonts" that contain spaces in their name. 3.0.19+
