No related videos at the end of youtube embedded videos

  • Normally at the end of a youtube video there will be displayed bricks containing "related" videos or suggestions from youtube.

    This sucks because it directs the user away from your forum. Often the suggestions are not related at all but catchy enough to lead the user away from the thread. I wanted no related videos at the end and found an easy solution. In media providers change the youtube code from:

    Code
    <div class="videoContainer"><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/{$ID}?wmode=transparent&amp;start={$start}" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>

    To:

    Code
    <div class="videoContainer"><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/{$ID}?rel=0&wmode=transparent@@@WCF_LITERAL_AMP@@@start={$start}" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>

    Simply adding rel=0& after the video ID.

  • Could you post this in the suggestion section? I'd love to see a setting. :)

    return null;
