Most websites including forums have a Contact Us link. I can't find it in WSF. How can guests contact the forum administrator?

Via conversation, email, real email or via plugin:
woltlab.com/pluginstore/file/2362/Over here you have to provide a legal notice page with an email-address (and there's a plugin by WoltLab) - the simplest solution if you don't want/need a real contact form.
I prefer to make it easy for guests to contact, in case a problem with the site functionality, registration, information about products etc. Everyone expects a Contact Us link. Interesting rules you have in Europe.
Via conversation I'm assuming you mean enabling private messaging for guests?
I understand about providing an email in a separate page like About Us, but what do you mean by email versus real email?
Thanks for the plugin recommendation. I installed it but can't find the configuration settings. Do you know where it is?

Sorry - didn't think enough about what I was typing.

The E-Mail-Function (like the conversation) where you don't see the receiver's address and the WSC sends the mail vs. you see the email address and paste it into your email-app.

I just checked the XML-file of the plugin. It should be unter ACP > Content (not sure if that's the exact English phrase) > Contact form

Cyperghost correct me if I'm wrong
Thank you but these settings are not working correctly.
A short pdf with instructions from the developer would save so much time.
When admin receives an email from the contact form, in an email client like Outlook, can they read the message in the email and reply to it directly, or do they have to go to ACP to read the message, and copy/paste the email of the sender found there?
It's strange because as the admin I receive the subject but not the message.
Just a little note here: Introducing with WoltLab Suite 3.1, there will be a contact form included into the core.
Is it known when 3.1 will be available?
Is it known when 3.1 will be available?
Not really... Estimated: End of the year.

Yes an admin can reply on the email and it will be sent directly to the guest who contacted the admin.
Cyperghost see missing language variable?
I confirm now that I can reply directly to the email.
But the message is not visible in the email I receive. Also the senders email is not visible.
Usually it should be. Maybe it's not correct configured? Can you show a screen shot of your settings?
These are my settings, there are no other settings that I can see.

So the email notification I receive has in the subject: My Forum Name - #(of message) - Subject
In the body of my notification email I have only:
You have a message from the contact form at my forum. The message can be viewed here http://myforum.com/forum/acp/index.php?contact-list/
The sender of the message receives a confirmation email correctly formatted as in the Automatic Answer settings.
Thank you very much, it works perfectly now.
For anyone looking to tweak this, the input fields accept html tags like br for line break and strong for bold text.
Is there a way to remove the message number (#) from the subject line? In the email I receive as the admin.
I am not sure if it's possible. Probably only Cyperghost can answer that
dan1 only by changing the code in a PHP file.
