I'm pretty sure we won't get this in the core. You'll may ask a third-party developer (e. g. from the Plugin-Store) to do something like this as a plugin-.

Every browser can do that without a plugin/feature of the software.
strg+p and it should be able to print as PDF.

That's true but the formatting isn't that great.
I think this would be an useful feature if you're using articles in order to write lengthy guides or technical posts.

Gibt es hier schon etwas neues?

It's planned end of February.
I started last week. Maybe i will be finshed at the end of this week.
By the way, the basic wsc print-version from woltlab is better than the last one (wcf).
Suggesttions are alway welcome.

I use <span class="icon icon64 fa-print fa-6" onclick="window.print();"></span>
And its working as well
But i cannot "control" which areas should be printed. Maybe your plugin can do that?
-
Yes that's exactly the funktion.
You can decide in the ACP what shall be printed
For Example you can hide all Userinformations, Navigation-buttons, Page-logo......
-
Alright then I might change it once the plugin is ready.
-
Throwholics: Shall i add a navigation icon for printing?
-
Next to the RSS icon you mean?
Currently i do have the huge icon, maybe it is better to have it a bit smaller yes
but not sure what the better UX would be
-
Yes next the rss icon.
Maybe its good to have both.
-
Yeah probably
And it would probably be nice to set the print frame, same as for example in Excel
Not sure if thats possible though.
