Freeze in my Vivaldi browser while adding smiley in user-profile signature
Use of smiley icon freezes everywhere....
I wouldn't expect any fixes for a 0.02 % market share browser with just a bit over 1 million users. :O
Vivaldi is A BURNER give it a try.
No, thanks. I stay with Google Chrome, that burns more. *g*
Or go with FireFox that burns more *F* than Chrome and doesn't spy on you're browsing habits.
Nah, Firefox just sucks.
Nah, Firefox just sucks.
No. Edge sucks.
To be honest, Firefox sucks more then edge. Edge is pretty nais and stable with hundreds of tabs.

How can you say that? Google Chrome is pretty basic compared to FF, and it lacks many of the good plugins FF has for using
I couldn't even find a decent Hotmail email browser checker for Chrome
i do not care about plugins - chrome has everything i need. And it doesn't crash even with several hundred open tabs.
And by the way: Hotmail? Really? Banned on all my sites. 99% Spammers, 0,99% Idiots.

Meh! And Gmail is not used by spammers?
I've always had far, far more Gmail spammers joining my forums than Hotmail ones 10 to 1 they are Gmail
I had not even a single gmail spammer in ten years. Maybe this has something to do with page language?
I only ban what is suitable in my use case, of course. And 99,99% of all hotmail registrations were people wanting to sell wheed oder enlarge my penis.
Unfortunatley i'm happy with my penis and got wheed myself
I had not a single gmail spammer in ten years
You're forum must be hidden behind an htaccess user authenticate password protect file then.
Spammers jump on Gmail a long time ago knowing most forums won't block gmail so they can get in easy to spam
I'm sorry, it's not.
Microsoft Edge is a pretty nice browser even when I normally use Vivaldi ... Microsoft learned its lesson !
Edge loads blazingly fast . Nice in combination with Microsoft Outlook.
For me the only relevant thing is, does the browser crash with several hundreds of open tabs.
Edge - No
Chrome - No
Firefox - Yes
A browser that can't support my workflow can't be good (for me). Especially when there is only one plugin i use - adblock. Seems like this will be fixed sometime in the future, but there is no reason to ever switch from chrome.
Mozilla Firefox for the win
I understand why so many folks do not want to try using Firefox. A few years ago they dropped the ball and the browser became very resource heavy and for many even unstable. That memory of that tragic development has stuck into people's heads and folks jumped shipped.
Firefox is has changed and is developed in part from Chromium (notably the API for plugins now uses extensions). There is even a 3rd party plugin that taps into Mozilla's new API that allows you to easily install extensions directly from Google's own store.

Today Firefox is a lot more stable and does not use the heavy ram and CPU load it once did. But the memory of how bad Mozilla let things go before they finally resolved those issues are still fresh in everyone's head.
I moved from Firefox to Chrome ad well because of the ram issues..

The ram issues and cpu issues are resolved.
