Are profile cover photos turned off on the beta site? If it will be a feature of the finished product, shouldn't it be here?

Due to some issues, there will be not profile cover images, though it might be re-evaluated for 3.1 (see German thread https://beta.woltlab.com/forum/thread/8…-von-benutzern/).
According to that: https://beta.woltlab.com/forum/thread/8…-von-benutzern/
The feature as been moved to 3.1 due some technical problems and won't come with WSC 3.0.
Matthias, stop being faster than me.
Am I the only one who thinks that the current design is a little bored? Cover photo for user profile, thread header image... I need colours and images... XD
Disclaimer: I usually like simple designs, but this is too simple.

I usually like minimalist styles but I agree, the default style could use a little more color. I can't wait to see the new styles people come up with for WSC 3 and WBB 5 .
A bit of grey here and there could work better.
I said same before it all looks too white and the sidebar block colours are just a little bit too much faded out for my liking. I think a few more tweaks to style needs be made to get away from the too much white look. Maybe the black colour ( or whatever dark colout is is) used for editor toolbar - used here and there to breaks things up would look nice,
Maybe a texture in background
No, you don't want any textures
why ?
textures are old now, and not not what is current style trend. I did this just now adding some extra colour to sidebar blocks as an example to make things look a little less sparse
I just tested with a background texture using inspect element. Looks nice to me.
When there will be inserted a good template listener event in the template, then meanwhile a plugin should do it too I think.
@Sonnenspeer: Pure CSS is enough.
