How can I set the blog as my homepage (landing page) and have it's URL mysite.com and my forums URL mysite.com/forum?
I saw the threads by @Aslan but I don't know if he got it to work or how it was done.

I bought this
woltlab.com/pluginstore/file/1556/and I just discovered that I may have wasted my money because it appears that it is already a feature that I overlooked with WoltLab Blog 2.1 . If it is already a feature with WoltLab Blog 2.1 why is it being allowed to be sold in the Plugin-Store?!

Maybe some users are still on 2.0 and that is the Blog Version it is designed for.

It was for 2.0 blog but does work in 2.1 blog and has little more ability than built-in feature of 2.1 blog, so not necessarily money wasted, I have that plugin myself.

lol

What abilities are those? They appear to do exactly the same things.

They should remove the wording there for 2.1 and mention that 2.1 already has this feature.
@PJK They talk about Burning Board 4.0 / WCF 2.0 and Burning Board 4.1 / WCF 2.1 which is correct cause in both systems you can run the Blog 2.0. With the built in feature of the Blog 2.1 you can show specific Blogs on the Dashboard, with the Addon for 2.0 you are only able to select categories.
They could avoid confusion by simply adding more options to select from in the Store, not just a "Burning Board X.Y/WCF X.Y", at least add options for other Woltlab products.
In my view they could fix this by simply adding more options to select from not just a "Burning Board X.Y/WCF X.Y". They could at least add options for the other Woltlab products.
That would be good.
The plugin is less than $2 so it's no great loss of money, I just wish that the ability to show blog entries as news in wcf 2.1 already exists. It would have been nice if someone would have replied to this thread sooner too (within 5 hours) but oh well, lesson learned.

No but thank you very much @Throwholics. I ended up using the Dashboard as my homepage with the blogs as news feature and it accomplished what I was after.
That's good as well
Some were helping Adam before in his thread : Make blogs the homepage
Edit: Never mind, you already read his threads about it.
Old thread but I have a question. I have the 2.1 blog addon and was wondering if there is a way to include the blog entry article image to the dashboard entry?
Currently when you visit my dashboard page (home page) you will see the article excerpt but not the article image. Anyway to have it show the image on the dashboard page?
