How can I add borders on the left and right side of the main content that would go from the bottom of the page to the top? I want to separate the page background from the content and container areas. I'm using the basic WBB style.

That depends on your current style and CSS settings. A link to the particular website would be helpful.

Thank you for the reply, Black Rider. It's the basic WoltLab style.

CSS
.navigationHeader, #main, .navigationFooter { border-left: 1px solid red; border-right: 1px solid red; }
red = the color
You can use hex, rgb or rgba colors.When you add the class .mainMenu, to the code above you get the border on the MainMenu too.
For a bottom border you add
EDIT: You can find some informations here: http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_border.asp ...We often use the shorthand property

Unfortunately, due to the current basic design this would not set a border around the whole header. Use the following instead:
CSS
Alles anzeigen@media (min-width: 801px) { #top { height: 0; } #logo { margin-top: 0; padding-top: 57px; } #pageHeader, #main, #pageFooter { border-left: 1px solid @wcfContainerBorderColor; border-right: 1px solid @wcfContainerBorderColor; } }
You can use hex, rgb or rgba colors.
Or hsla if you are crazy!
